Executive Director : Mr Patrick Kamusasa

Mr Patrick Kamusasa has a passion for humanitarian work dating back as far as 2000 when he joined Family AIDS Caring Trust as the Finance and Administration Officer. On several occassions, after his work of Finance and Administration, he started to assist the Programme Manager / Executive Director in resource mobilization to fund humanitarian programmes such as HIV/AIDS, Orphan and Vulnerable Children, Clients on Home Based Care, etc. He did his MBA dissertation based on NGO work- Resource Mobilization and he graduated in 2007.

During his tenure at FACT he managed to procure a vehicle from Transport Aid from Japan, Computers from Canadian Aid for International Development Agency and funding from donors as well. He also acted as the Programme Manager / Executive Directr on numerous occasions. He also served as the Administrator at Kubatana Community HIV/AIDS multi-service trust for more than 10 years and also acted as the Projects Co-ordinator / Chief Executive Officer on a number of times.

He also worked in senior management positions for about 10 years such as Financial Accountant, Cost Accountant and Finance and Administration Manager at Border Timbers and Allied Timbers respectively.

Apart from possessing Finance Qualifications, Patrick Kamusasa did several courses relevant in the NGO such as Monitoring & Evaluation, Financial Management of Donor Funds, Resource Mobilization, Strategic Management, Project Management, Gender Mainstreaming, etc.Mr Kamusasa is also a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Financial Managers (USA)

Currently he is studying for his PHD degree in Finance & Strategic Management and is graduating in 2025
